Outdated systems
More often we are being called into venues that have been using the same rigging systems for decades. There is a lot of problems that don't exist strictly because of outdated equipment. Proper fabrication and installation is usually the main reason these systems are not operating smoothly. The picture shown is of a T-bar wall or track system for a counterweight venue. This was installed very poorly and the venue has had to deal with the complications of this ever since.
